(3/3) Hawaii pulled away in the 2nd half to defeat the TCU Lady Frogs, 67-52, in the opening round of the WAC tournament. The game was tied at the half at 22. Emma Wilson had 16; Buffy Ferguson and Jennifer Hickman added 14. The Frogs shot 28.6% from the field.

(3/2) Emma Wilson was named first team all-WAC Mountain Division.

(2/27) The TCU Lady Frogs (13-13, 7-9) defeated UNLV (4-23, 2-14), 97-67. Emma Wilson had 25, Buffy Ferguson and Jennifer Hickman added 21.

(2/22) The Lady Frogs (12-13, 6-9) defeated UNLV (4-22, 2-13), 80-49. Jennifer Hickman had 20 points; Emma Wilson addded 13, with 8 assists.

(2/20) The Lady Frogs (11-13, 5-9) were defeated by SMU (16-10, 10-5), 99-82. Buffy Ferguson had 20 points and three 3's.

Wilson made 2 free throws with 11 seconds left to give the Frogs their final margin. Buffy Ferguson made a key jumper with 2:42 left to tie the game. Leah Garcia had 18 points. Jennifer Hickman had 10 points and 7 assists.

(1/25) The TCU Lady Frogs, (9-8, 3-4) lose a 4 OT heartbreaker to SMU, 127-125. Emma Wilson tied her own school record with 35 points, tied a school record with 12 assists and grabbed 9 rebounds. Ginger Usher hit a layup with 1 second left to send the game into the 2nd OT. Leah Garcia hit a baseline jumper to send the game into the 3rd OT. The two teams combined to score a WAC record 252 points, breaking the old record of 190 set by TCU and BYU. SMU's Shawna Ford had 42 points.

(1/24) Lifetime Television is sponsoring its 2nd annual "Take a Girl to the Game" program where young men and women are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. TCU's "Take a Girl to the Game" is on Sat. Feb 15, when the Frogs play Utah.

The 9 wins surpasses the win total for the last 3 years combined for the Lady Frogs. Emma Wilson had 18; Jennifer Hickman had 16 points and 9 rebounds. Leah Garcia had 11 points and 6 rebounds. The Frogs jumped out to a 20-6 lead to start the game.

    (12/30)The TCU Lady Frogs (6-4) were defeated by San Fransisco, 70-57. The Lady Frogs only shot 26% in the first half, falling behind 30-19. Buffy Ferguson had 19 points to lead the Lady Frogs; Emma Wilson had 15 points; Jennifer Hickman added 14.

    (12/22)The TCU Lady Frogs (6-3) defeated Sam Houston State, 77-69, to win the Wichita St-Pizza Hut Shocker Shootout. Emma Wilson, who had 30 points, was chosen as the tournament's MVP. Stacy Price who had 13 rebounds was also selected to the all-tournament team. Shawnda Mitchell-Harps had 14 points and 10 rebounds; Jennifer Hickman had 12 points and 10 rebounds.

    (12/21) The TCU Lady Frogs (5-3) defeated Wichita State 58-50 in the first round of the Wichita St-Pizza Hut Shocker Shootout. Emma Wilson had 12 points to lead a balanced Frog attack; the Frogs made 14 of 15 second half free throws.

    (12/14) The TCU Lady Frogs (4-3) defeated Prairie View A&M, 64-43. Emma Wilson had 14 points for the Frogs.

    (12/10) The Lady Frogs (3-3) were defeated by Alcorn State, 81-65. The Lady Braves extended their home winning streak to 30 games. Jennifer Hickman scored 14 for the Frogs, who lead at halftime, 33-32.

    (12/07) The Lady Frogs (3-2) were defeated by New Mexico State, 78-77, in overtime. Emma Wilson had 35 points to lead the Frogs.

    (12/06) The Lady Frogs (3-1) were defeated by Stephen F. Austin, 78-76, in the first round of the Dial Soap Classic. Jennifer Hickman scored 18; Emma Wilson added 17.

    (11/29) The Lady Frogs (3-0) defeated Howard Payne 126-58. Stacy Price had 24 points; Buffy Ferguson had 25; Leah Garcia had 19 points and 7 assists.

    (11/26) The Lady Frogs (2-0) defeated North Texas, 70-57. Emma Wilson scored 22; Buffy Ferguson had 14, while Leah Garcia had 10.

    (11/23) The Lady Frogs (1-0) defeated McMurry, 105-36, and set a record for FG% in a game (61.2%). Stacy Price had 18 points and 7 rebounds. Emma Wilson had 19 points and 8 assists.

    (11/16) The Lady Frogs were defeated by Spartak, 94-77. Emma Wilson led all scorers with 28 points.

    (11/05) Mike Petersen on the team's schedule:
    "It has the type of games that force you to find out if you are making progress or not. And that's good. San Francisco and SFA are both teams that were extremely successful last season and will challenge every part of our game. It also has some games on it that we can win, and that's important for this team. (The WAC schedule) is exciting because there are some many unknowns. Tulsa is in its first year of its program, UNLV has a new coach. SMU has a lot of new faces. UNM made some huge strides last season.

    (11/05) The TCU Lady Frog basketball team's home opener has been changed. TCU will now face Spartak, a traveling squad from Moscow, on Nov. 16th.

    (11/05) Leah Garcia, an expected starter, is day-to-day with her fractured left hand, which is now out of a cast. Belle Sathid, a freshman walk-on from Arlington, TX has left the team, citing a need to concentrate on academics.

    (10/22) Despite playing less than one full week of practice the Lady Frogs have experienced their share of pain.

    The Frogs have 7 new faces on the squad this season, including two foreigners.

    Jrs. Buffy Ferguson and Pam Hicks along with sophomore Kristina Hayworth joined the team after playing at the junior college level.

    Fr. Anita Lelas and So. Emma Wilson have each played internationally before arriving at TCU. Lelas played at Oregon City High School, the USA Today National Champions. Before last year, Lelas played club basketball in her native Crotia. Wilson played for club teams the last two years in her native Australia.

    Fr. Krista Watson and Belle Sathid are the remaining newcomers. Watson, a native of Austin, is a medical redshirt and will sit out the season. Sathid, from Arlington, was a three-time Private / Parochial School All-Star.
