TCU's new Lady Frog basketball head coach Mike Petersen, filled his staff Friday with the hiring of assistants Arthur Prevost and Kelly Kebe.
The 29-year-old Prevost, has held several assistant coaching positions, including Lamar (1991-94), University of Texas-El Paso (1994-95), and most recently, the University of California-Irvine (1995-96).
A native of Liberty, Texas, Prevost helped Lee Junior College (TX) to a 23-6 record and was named 2nd Team all-conference honors in 1988 before moving on to Lamar University where he finished his playing career. Prevost, who earned a B.S. in Communications from Lamar University in 1990, and his wife Satona, will make their home in Fort Worth.
The other addition to the Lady Frog Basketball coaching staff is the 25-year-old Kebe, a Euclid, Ohio native. Kebe played her college ball at Case Western Reserve, where she was a four-year starter. She established herself as the second-leading scorer (961 points) and third best rebounder (483) in the school's history.
Youngest of 10 children, Kebe earned her undergraduate degree in business in 1993 at Case Western and spent the following year (1993-94) as assistant coach of women's basketball and volleyball at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. Kebe served the past two seasons as assistant coach for women's basketball at the University of Oregon (1994-95, 1995-96).
Single, she is working toward her MBA.
