Prater comes to TCU from Asheville, North Carolina, where he has had a great deal of success as the head varsity and JV coach of Asheville Christian Academy.
While at Asheville Prater guided the varsity team to third place in the state championships with an 18-1 record. Prater was also given the honor of coaching the North Carolina high school all-star team at the NACA where he received coach of the year honors.
Rodney will be attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary this fall.
