- (9/10) The TCU Lady Frog Golf Team opened the season by winning
the Ram/Cowgirl Fall Classic in Fort Collins, CO. The Frogs finished
at 895 (+43), winning by 27 strokes over runner-up Pepperdine.
18 teams competed in the 54 hole event at the Southridge Course.
Sophomore Susan Horton finished first overall with a 216 (+3);
Freshman Angela Stanford finished second with a score of 220 (+7);
Dana Schmid was tied for fourth with a 226 (+13).
- (9/10) The TCU Defense is 1st in the WAC in total defense, scoring
defense, pass defense and 3rd against the run.

- (9/09) TCU INJURY SITUATION - The tender ankle of starting nose tackle Bernard
Oldham appears to be the most-serious injury concern for the Frogs stemming
from the OU game. Oldham joins standout wide receiver John Washington
(hamstring), who logged only two plays in the '96 opener. Linebacker
Scott Taft (strained knee-left), and backup receiver Tavarus Moore
(strained knee - right) as those listed as questionable for the KU game
during early week evaluations.
