- (4/30) TCU's Dana Schmid of the Lady Frog Golf Team was named to the All-SWC Academic Team.
- (4/30) TCU defeated UTA 13-1.
- (4/29) TCU golfers Brent Wolf, Grady Girard
and J.J. Henry were named to the
All-SWC team. Deron Zinnecker was selected to the GTE/SWC Men's Golf Academic Honor Team.
- (4/28) TCU slipped to 4th place (888) in the SWC Men's Golf Championships.
Tech rallied to win (880), while Hank Kuehne finished tied for first with Tech's
Bryan Novoa (213). Second round leader J.J. Henry slipped to 3rd (216).
- (4/28) TCU is defeated by Oklahoma 7-6 in 14 innings.
- (4/28) J.J. Henry shot a 69 to help the Frogs gain a three-stroke lead at the SWC Golf Championships. Henry (137) is one shot ahead of SMU's Hank Kuehne, whose sister Kelli
was the low individual in the SWC Women's Golf Championships.
SMU is three shot behind; A&M is third, 7 behind. TCU's Andy Aduddell is presently in 8th place (145); Brent Wolf is 10th (146).
- (4/27) At the Penn Relays, both the 4x100 (39.66) and
4x200 (1:22.65) men's relay teams finished
2nd behind Norfolk State.
Tinesha Jackson finished 6th in the 100 meters (11.70).
The women's 4x200 relay team finished 5th.
- (4/27) TCU blew out Oklahoma 21-9, pounding out 26 hits.
- (4/26) At the Penn Relays, TCU's Tinesha Jackson is a 100 yard dash qualifier.

- (4/26) TCU (288) trails SMU by one stroke after the first round of the SWC
Championship at West Columbia. J.J. Henry is 2nd overall with a 68.

- (4/26) TCU hires Arthur Prevost and Kelly Bebe as women's basketball
assistant coaches.
- (4/23) TCU Men's tennis team signed two junior standouts, Zachary Friedman and
Matt Bere.
- (4/23) TCU women's golf coach, Angie Ravaioli-Larkin, was named co-coach of the year
in the SWC.
- (4/23) TCU rolled over Tarleton State, 16-1 in a game called off early.
- (4/22) Former Frog Juan Bragg will transfer to Southern Mississippi.
Bragg was also considering New Mexico.
- (4/21) The TCU women's golf team finished 5th (945) at the SWC Championships.
Susan Horton was 7th overall (231). Texas won (907) , with
the Longhorns' Kelli Kuehne the individual leader (222)
- (4/21) TCU wins the SWC Tourney with a hard fought 4-2 victory over
Texas A&M. TCU won the doubles; #4 Ashley Fisher; #5 Jason Weir-Smith, and
#6 Andres Urencio won their matches as well.
Urencio rallied from a 3-0 deficit in the second set, after losing the first set 6-0.
- (4/21) TCU defeated Houston, 14-4, to end a 7-game losing streak.
- (4/20) The TCU women's team slipped to 5th place after 2 rounds (309,319).
Susan Horton fell to 4th place after an 80.
- (4/20) TCU is swept by Houston, 5-2, and 10-9.
- (4/20) The TCU men's tennis team defeated Tech, 6-0, to advance to tomorrow's final
against Texas A&M, which upset Texas, 4-2.
- (4/20) The TCU women's tennis team was eliminated by Texas A&M, 5-0. A&M will play
Texas in tomorrow's finals.
- (4/19) The TCU women are third (309) after the first round of the SWC tournament, 4 shots behind Texas, the leader. Susan Horton fired an even par round of 72, and is the individual leader.
- (4/19) TCU Women's Tennis team defeated Baylor 5-3 to advance in the
SWC Tournament; they will play A&M next.
- (4/18) TCU gives out Spring Football Awards.
- (4/18) Paul Robinson was selected at #1 singles on the All-SWC team for the 3rd season in a row. Also selected, David Roditi (#2 singles),
Gonzalo Corrales (#3 singles), Andres Urencio (#6 singles), and Robinson & Roditi (#1 doubles).
- (4/18) Natalie Balafoutis was selected to the All-SWC team at #4 women's singles.
- (4/18) Track coach Monte Stratton announces signing of 8 track standouts.

- (4/16) The TCU men's golf team finished 9th (227) at the Karsten Creek Classic in
Stillwater, OK.
- (4/14) The TCU women's golf team finished 7th at the California Collegiate in
Stanford, CA. Susan Horton finished 11th.
- (4/13) The TCU women's team finished 2nd, and the men 4th
at the
University of North Texas Track Invitational.
- (4/13) The TCU men's tennis team defeated A&M, 6-1, to
win the SWC Conference Championship.
- (4/13) The TCU women's golf team is presently 8th at the
California Collegiate. Susan Horton is in 9th.
- (4/13) The TCU women's tennis team loses to Rice, 5-4.
- (4/13) TCU is swept by A&M; The Aggies won the opener 16-7.

- (4/12) Mike Jones of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M has signed a letter of intent with TCU. Jones (6'3",196) averaged 22.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game.

- (4/12) TCU hires Mike Petersen as the new women's
basketball coach.
- (4/10) Sadd Jackson, TCU's assistant strength and conditioning coach, was hired by Valdosta State to coach the defensive line.
- (4/10) The TCU men's golf team moved into # 3 nationally in the latest
men's golf rankings.
- (4/10) The TCU men's tennis team defeated SMU 6-1.
- (4/9) The TCU women's golf team finished in 2nd place at the Susie Maxwell
Berning Classic in Norman, OK.
Susan Horton (233) finished in 4th place;
Shannon Fisher (234) finished 5th.
- (4/7) The TCU baseball team loses to Baylor, 17-7.
- (4/6) The TCU Flyin' Frogs won the 4 x 100 relay (39.20) at the Texas Relays.
The 4 x 200 relay failed to finish due to a botched handoff.
"The guys stepped up and performed at a higher level," said Coach Monte
Stratton. "Today, we upheld the tradition."
Leadoff runner George Hackney added, "TCU is still the sprint
capital of the USA."
- (4/6) The TCU men's golf team finished 3rd at the Ping Invitational in Cary, NC.
J.J. Henry finished 6th.
- (4/6) TCU sweeps Baylor, winning 3-2 and 6-1.

David Roditi, Gonzalo Corrales, and
Jason Weir-Smith earned crucial three set
victories.
"The earmark of a good team is whether they can win the three-setters," said
Coach Tut Bartzen. "I think our guys stepped it up a notch."

- (4/3) Damion Walker was selected to the All-Freshman Team by Basketball Weekly. Walker joins Stephon Marbury (GA Tech), Shareef Abdur-Rahim (CA),
Jelani McCoy (UCLA), and Chauncey Billups (CO).
- (4/3) Bart Casey, TCU's athletic video coordinator, has accepted an offer to become an assistant football coach at Nichols State.
- (4/3) Chris Richards has decided to leave the basketball program.
- (4/1) The TCU women's tennis team defeated Nichols State, 5-2.
- (4/1) The TCU men's tennis team moved up to #5 in the Rolex Collegiate Rankings.
Paul Robinson, the senior captain for the Frogs, moved into the #1 singles position (ITA/Rolex Rankings) for the first time in his collegiate career.
