- (1/31) Sophomore Maggie Topolski was named the WAC swimmer of the week for
her performances last weekend. Topolski won 4 events, including three against
Houston. Topolski won the 100 freestyle (54.13), the 200 FS (1:54.56), and the
400 IM (4.25.97). Topolski also won the 200 freestyle (1:53.88) against Rice.

Mike Jones had 18 points and 12 rebounds;
Malcolm Johnson and James Penny added 17 each.
- (1/30) The Lady Frogs were defeated by Rice, 76-67. Jennifer Hickman had 15 points
and 10 rebounds; Leah Garcia had 17 points and 4 assists; Emma Wilson added 16.

for his performance against SMU. Jones had 25 points, 20 in the second half, along
with 4 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists, and 1 block.

hits and struck out 10 in picking up the win. Sam Lunsford and Darren Wood each had 2 triples.

- (1/24) C Ryan Tucker had arthroscopic surgery to reconstruct the anterior
cruciate ligament in his left knee. He figured to be an early round selection in April's NFL draft.
- (1/24) Lifetime Television is sponsoring its 2nd annual "Take a Girl to the Game" program
where young men and women are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. TCU's
"Take a Girl to the Game" is on Sat. Feb 15, when the Frogs play Utah.
- (1/20) RB John Williams and starting OL Clifton Clemons have left the TCU football program.

the week for her performance in the 3 meter, 11-dive competition against SMU last week.

Jeff Jacobs, who had 19 in the first half off of the bench, scored 27 and had 6 threes, and 6 assists. Damion Walker had 12 points, 15 rebounds and 3 blocks.
James Penny had 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks.
- (1/16) Damion Walker will move to power forward, and James Penny will play at
center for tonight's game against BYU.
- (1/12) Former TCU Lady Frog Golfer Jenny Lidback became the first player
to score a hole-in-one on consecutive days in a LPGA tournament. She aced
the 146yd 11th at the Tournament of Champions with a 6 Iron. On Saturday, she
used a 5 Iron on the 147 yd 17th.
- (1/12) The TCU Lady Frogs (9-5, 3-1) defeated UTEP (9-4, 1-3), 67-59.
This is TCU's best ever conference start. The 9 wins surpasses the win total for the
last 3 years combined for the Lady Frogs. Emma Wilson had 18; Jennifer Hickman
had 16 points and 9 rebounds. Leah Garcia had 11 points and 6 rebounds.
The Frogs jumped out to a 20-6 lead to start the game.

- (1/10) The TCU women's swimming team was defeated by SMU, 150-85 at
the TCU Dual Swim Meet. The SMU men defeated TCU, 137-104.
- (1/10) The TCU Lady Frogs defeated New Mexico, 77-55.
Emma Wilson, the leading scorer in the WAC, scored 26 points, including 4 threes.
Jennifer Hickman had 17 points; Leah Garcia added 15 points.
- (1/09) TCU is defeated by New Mexico, 79-64.
- (1/06) The TCU vs New Mexico game will be televised on channel 53 by Marcus Cable in
Fort Worth and the mid-cities.
- (1/06) TCU is defeated by UNLV, 98-91 in their first ever
WAC game. The Rebels outscored the Frogs by 20 in the 2nd half.
Malcolm Johnson led the Frogs with 25 points.
- (1/05) UNLV starting guard Sunshine Smith will have to sit out the TCU game
after being suspended for his involvement in a fight during the Rebels
last game against San Jose State. UNLV Center Keon Clark has an injured
knee but is expected to play.

ever WAC game. Emma Wilson led the Frogs with 30 points, including
a school and conference record 8 three pointers.
