- (12/30) TCU (10-2) defeated Purdue, 97-69. Malcolm Johnson
had 21 points, and Anthony Burks had 20 off the bench, on 8 of 9
shooting. Damion Walker had 14 points and 9 rebounds. James Penny had
17 points, 6 rebounds, 3 blocks, 2 steals and 5 assists.
- (12/30)The TCU Lady Frogs (6-4) were defeated by San Fransisco, 70-57.
The Lady Frogs only shot 26% in the first half, falling behind 30-19.
Buffy Ferguson had 19 points to lead the Lady Frogs;
Emma Wilson had 15 points; Jennifer Hickman added 14.
- (12/28) TCU defeated Sam Houston State, 88-66, in the consolation
game of the Cessna Classic. Malcolm Johnson and Mike Jones combined for
43 points and 23 rebounds.
- (12/27) TCU is defeated by Virginia Commonwealth, 94-81, in
the first round of the Cessna Classic.

- (12/22) The TCU Lady Frogs defeated Sam Houston State to win
the Wichita St-Pizza Hut Shocker Shootout. Emma Wilson, who had 30 points,
was chosen as the tournament's MVP. Stacy Price who had 13 rebounds
was also selected to the all-tournament team. Shawnda Mitchell-Harps
had 14 points and 10 rebounds; Jennifer Hickman had 12 points and 10
rebounds.
- (12/21) The TCU Lady Frogs defeated Wichita State 58-50 in the first
round of the Wichita St-Pizza Hut Shocker Shootout. Emma Wilson had
12 points to lead a balanced Frog attack; the Frogs made 14 of 15
second half free throws.
- (12/21) TCU swimmers and divers have made the recently released NCAA
top-20 Best Times list in 8 different events.
Sophomore Jason Flint
has achieved the national record for a Horned Frog with his No. 2 ranking
in the 200 breast with a time of 1:59.45. Flint also posted a
55.47 in the 100 breast, which ranks him fifth in the nation in that
event.
Senior Chris Kern is No. 11 in the nation in the 200 fly with a time of
1:48.81, No. 13 in the 200 free with a time of 1:39.15 and No. 13
in the 500 free, with a time of 4:29.25.
The TCU men's relays have also done well this season. The men's
400 medley relay ranks 9th in the nation with a time of
3:21.67 while the men's 200 medley relay ranks at No. 12 in the
nation with a time of 3:21.67.
For the women, Maggie Topolski's time of 4:22.78 in the 400 IM
places her at 16th in the nation.
- (12/19) TCU has hired Phil Bennett as the new defensive coordinator replacing
the departing Pat Henderson.
- (12/18) TCU's Michael Reeder has been selected to the GTE Academic
All-American Team.
- (12/18) The TCU men's golf team currently ranked #3 in the nation in the Rolex Men's
Team Rankings, behind UNLV and Oklahoma State. Alberto Ochoa is third in the individual rankings.

as the Frogs
dominated the offensive boards, and overcome a slow start.

but is expected to play vs. Tech. Prince Fowler (sprained ankle) is probable.
- (12/12) The TCU Men's Basketball team defeated
Boston University, 81-80. Malcolm Johnson scored 23, including
7 three pointers.
- (12/10) The Lady Frog Basketball team was defeated by
Alcorn State, 81-65. The Lady Braves extended their home
winning streak to 30 games. Jennifer Hickman scored 14 for the Frogs,
who lead at halftime, 33-32.
- (12/07) The Lady Frog Basketball team was defeated by
New Mexico State, 78-77, in overtime. Emma Wilson had
35 points to lead the Frogs.
- (12/07) The TCU men's basketball team
defeated La. Tech, 79-76.
Mike Jones had 20 points for the Frogs.
James Penny had 6 blocked shots and 12 pts off the bench.
- (12/06) The Lady Frog Basketball team was defeated by
Stephen F. Austin, 78-76, in the first round of the Dial Soap
Classic. Jennifer Hickman scored 18; Emma Wilson added 17.
