#11 Patrick Batteaux
BATTEAUX IS A TWO-SPORT ATHLETE, COMPETING IN FOOTBALL AS WELL AS BASKETBALL HIGH SCHOOL .... Batteaux was the proverbial all-around student athlete while at Sugar Land, TX (Elkins) High. As a senior, he averaged 11.0 points per contest as a cager, romped for 1,665 all-purpose yards and passed for 13 touchdowns on the gridiron and earned all-state honors as a high jumper. All-told, his prep career saw him receive three monograms each for basketball and track, plus an additional pair in football. Not to mention the fact that he was a member of the National Honor Society, Who's Who, Texas Scholar and graduated Cum Laude! A two-time basketball all-district recipient, Batteaux's high school basketball coach was Wayne Howard. PERSONAL .... Named all-around male student as a senior at Elkins HS, Patrick Alan Batteaux was born April 18, 1978 and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Batteaux of Missouri City. His father was a cage standout while attending Prairie View A&M in the early '60's. Batteaux is an arts and sciences pre-major at TCU.
