• (3/07) TCU is defeated by Rice, 78-67, in the last SWC tournament.
• (3/06) Freshman Damion Walker was recently named as the Associated Press SWC Newcomer of the Year. He is the third consecutive Horned Frog to be honored, following Juan Bragg and Jeff Jacobs.
  Walker finished as the nation's second-highest scoring freshman (20.4 ppg) and the second-highest rebounder (8.8 rpg). Walker is the top scoring freshman in TCU history. He is second in the conference in scoring, 4th in rebounding, 6th in blocked shots, and 6th in field goal percentage.
• (3/06) Byron Waits was named the final SWC Player of the Week. Waits had three consecutive 20+ scoring games. He also had a season high 17 rebounds against Baylor.
• (3/06) Saipele Tuialii will miss the remainder of the season with a fracture in his ankle.
• (3/06) TCU has made one three-pointer in 180 straight games.
• (3/06) James Penny is now 2nd place on the TCU single-season blocked shot list with 63; Penny is 4th in career blocks.
  TCU leads the conference in blocks with a school record 151.
• (3/06) Jeff Jacobs is now third in career assists with 383, trailing only Tony Edmond and the legendary Darrell Browder.
• (3/06) "I'm getting used to taking those three's late in a game. And, I like shooting in clutch situations and it seems to be working out," says Jeff Jacobs. Five Frog victories this season have come as a result of Jacobs hitting a clutch shot, or free throws, in the closing seconds.
• (3/02) TCU defeats Baylor 77-75 on another Jeff Jacobs' winning shot. The Frogs will play in the SWC tourney Thursday night at 8pm.
• (2/26) TCU defeats A&M 91-89, on Jacobs' turnaround shot with three seconds left.
• (2/26)Saipele Tuialii will miss his 2nd consecutive game with an ankle sprain.
• James Penny has been playing well, averaging 15 points, 2.5 blocks, and 3 steals over the last 4 games. He has 56 blocks this season, which ranks him 3rd on the TCU single season blocked shot list. With two more seasons remaining, Penny is 5th in career blocks.
• "James is really coming alive, now," says Billy Tubbs. "This is the time when you like to see it happen."
• TCU leads the SWC in scoring (84.6), free throw shooting (69.9%), rebounds (44/gm), and blocked shots (5.1/gm)
• TCU defeated SMU, 87-79.
• TCU defeated Rice, 70-67.
• (2/17) TCU loses a heartbreaker to Baylor , 72-70.
• (2/15) According to Juan Bragg, the mutual agreement occurred after Tubbs learned the two planned to tranfer following the season. "I told him it was true, and he decided he didn't want us on the team, and I decided I didn't want to be there," said Bragg.
• (2/14) TCU falls to Houston 86-82.
• (2/14) Juan Bragg and Princeston Parks have quit the Horned Frog basketball team. Billy Tubbs called their departures a "mutual agreement," and that the players were neither dismissed or suspended.

  Bragg, last years SWC newcomer of the year, was plagued by injuries this season, after coming in out of shape. Parks, considered one of the top 5 recruits in Texas last season, had received little playing time this season after being slowed initially with a hand injury. Parks and Bragg were expected to be two cornerstones in the Frogs rebuilding program along with Damion Walker and Durmond Freeman. Freeman was unable to enter TCU this Fall, and is at Tyler Jr. College.

• Frogs end skid, defeat A&M, 80-76.
• Frogs fall to SMU, 87-83 in overtime.
• Dennis Davis is expected to be benched for the SMU game for disciplinary reasons.
• TCU ends skid, defeating Rice 80-71, behind Jacobs 22 points.
• TCU falls to Kentucky 124-80 in nationally televised game on ESPN
• (1/18)Damion Walker is second in the SWC in scoring (24.3 ppg), first in rebounding (10.3 rpg) and second in field goal percentage (54.4%). Jeff Jacobs is third in assists (5.6 apg), while Anthony Burks is fourth (5 apg). James Penny is third in blocked shots.
• TCU falls to Houston 88-85, to fall to 0-3 in SWC.
• Billy Tubbs is expected to move Sharif Butler into the starting lineup, and move Jeff Jacobs to point guard for the Houston game. Dennis Davis may start for Bryon Waits.
• Frogs lose SWC road opener to Texas 103-88.
• Frogs lose SWC opener to Texas Tech 90-86.
• Frogs rally, then survive, defeating Montana State 98-96 in triple overtime.
• The Frogs roll over Alaska-Anchorage 124-78, setting a school record for total points.
• The Frogs defeat New Hampshire, 93-74, to win first road game.
• The Frogs lose to St. Joseph's of PA, 93-92 in double-overtime in the opening round of the Seton Hall tournament.
• TCU defeats Coppin State 89-86.
• TCU defeats North Texas 77-67.

• (12/14) Damion Walker is 11th in the nation in scoring (24.1) and 5th in rebounding (12.6). He leads all freshman in rebounding, and is the 2nd leading freshman scorer.
• TCU defeats SE Louisiana 95 to 92.
• Princeston Parks was suspended for violating team rules.
• TCU basketball games are broadcast over the Teamline service (1.800.846.7000, TCU Code 3985), as well as KTCK-1310 AM.
• TCU defeats Centenary 93 to 81.
• TCU defeats Howard 103 to 74.
• TCU defeats Middle Tenn St. in a thriller, 86-83.
• There is a new scoreboard in Daniel Meyer, thanks to the people at Dr. Pepper. The 9000 pound scoreboard offers a video screen, as well as statistics on the players in the game (points and fouls).
• TCU loses to Alaska-Anchorage 89-78 in their final tournament game.
• The Frogs were defeated by Ohio in the 2nd round of the Alaska Shootout 86-68.
  In the opener, they lost to U Conn 102-76.
• Freshman Scott Barrett will be redshirted this season.
• Durmond Freeman, one of the top recruits of Billy Tubbs' new class, was unable to gain admittance to TCU, and will be attending Tyler Jr. College.
  
• Prince Fowler has transferred to TCU from the University of Oklahoma, where he started at point guard as a freshman. After sitting out this year, he will have three years of eligibility left. "Prince adds great speed and quickness," Tubbs said. "He averaged 40 points a game in high school."
