Storyline
The Frog special teams played well. Michael Reeder is 7 of 7 of field goals this season. Beau Stephens pinned the Commodores deep several times.
A couple of penalities were the only thing that prevented a picture perfect first half by the defense during the first half.
John Washington had a career best 8 receptions for 121 yards, including an excellent diving
touchdown catch.
Andre Davis is now in seventh place on TCU's all time receiving list, with 99 catches. Davis has moved into the No. 4 spot on TCU's all-time, career rushing charts with 2,680 yards.
Vanderbilt punter Jeff Vining had a -10 yard punt under heavy pressure. It went straight up, and he downed it himself.
