Honduras Medical Team

The medical need of the poor in the rural areas of Honduras is immense.

In response, the Outreach Division of University Christian Church is providing the opportunity for doctors, dentists, and nurses to participate in a medical mession project in that country. This group will cooperate with an experienced medical team.

This group is headed by Dr. Thomas Carey and Dr. Lynda Lee of the McComb Children's Clinic in McComb, Mississippi. Their team is an ecumenical group from main line denominations.

Still in the planning stage, early March or April, 1996 is projected as a likely time for the trip.

This is an excellent way to reach out to persons in need. Dr. Carey says that this is probably the most satisfying and inspirational thing that he does each year.
