The School at El Rosario

Early in the morning, children come down the trails to attend the government school. Local education is provided through the fourth grade.

We had brought in school supplies to share. We were touched by the dedication of the school teacher, who would travel by horseback two hours each way, every day, so that he might teach the children of El Rosario to write their names or read a book.
