Constructing a Church

Our assignment was to assist in the construction of a church. This project would also provide training for local leaders in the techniques of digging and leveling a foundation, making adobe brick, fashioning and baking roof tiles.

This technology would later be used by the people to build more adequate houses, as their stick homes provided little protection during the cold, rainy season. Then, the 50 degree temperatures bring much respiratory disease.
